Founded on December 28, 2002, Reid Hoffman, as well as several others created linkedin. A way of communicating on a more professional/business side. I personally knew nothing about linkedin before enrolling into some of my broadcasting core classes. My professor, Mr.Harwood has introduced linkedin to me in detail and has helped me in various ways with connecting with others. I have connected with other classmates, professors, and a couple of alumni from South Carolina State who were broadcasting majors, and have went out and found great jobs in this profession. Linkedin is very simple and easy to use as far as finding people and easily connecting with them. There is no pressure to create or customize your profile or write a long description about your life, it is fast and easty access to the people you may need.
